To complete our team, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is seeking a highly professional and committed team player for the following position:
Senior Manager Venue Operations (f/m)

Your duties

  • Stadium and venue operations coordination on behalf of FIFA with the Local Organization Committee (LOC)
  • Assisting LOC to integrate all relevant functional area operational plans for FIFA World Cup and FIFA World Cup ancillary events
  • Development of pre-event, event-time and post-event procedures and timelines
  • Communications and relationship management with FIFA functional area leaders and LOC counterparts
  • Contribution to workshops and seminars, and meetings with LOC, host city and site authorities
  • Coordination of policies, requirements and planning with LOC, host city and site authorities
  • Contribution to project management and knowledge management initiatives including event debriefs, and knowledge capture and documentation activities

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in stadium operations for professional sports clubs and/or venue operations in the organization of major sporting events
  • Experience in the development and integration of operational plans
  • Experience as a member of, or counterpart to, LOC’s
  • FIFA and Olympic event experience preferred
  • International, cross-cultural work experiences preferred
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, any additional language proficiency preferred (German, French or Spanish)
  • Communication skills with team members of different nationalities, cultural backgrounds and language abilities
